The rich brothers who manage a ranch in 1925 Montana are the subject of The Power of the Dog. The older brother sets out harass them after the younger brother marries a widow with a teenage son. The writing, direction, and acting in the movie received high marks. Additionally, it was nominated for 12 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Cumberbatch for Best Actor.
